The Strengthening Multipolar World Is Inevitable.
According to Rashatudi, Russian President Vladimir Putin reiterated this Friday at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) that the current and neo-colonial world order is declining and the multipolar world is strengthening day by day.
Putin said about Russia’s economic conditions after the military operation in Ukraine: By the end of 2023, the growth of Russia’s gross product will increase to 2 percent. Inflation in Russia is lower than in many Western countries and has reached a historical record of less than 3%.
He stated that “if foreign companies intend to return to Russia, the doors are open to them and we will provide them with the conditions.” He added: Russia is not afraid of competing with foreign brands, but when they return, it considers their behavioral characteristics.
Putin also said: “Russia should increase the military budget to ensure the country’s security. Russia is gradually reducing its dependence on gas and oil.” And he explained that “of course, more funds were needed to strengthen defense and security and purchase weapons. We must do this to preserve the sovereignty of our country. I must say that from the general point of view, this increase in the military budget even has an economic justification.”
The president pointed out that “the neo-colonial world system with its ugly nature has lost its influence and the inevitable multi-polar world order is being strengthened.” He said: Russia’s trade with countries and nations that have not succumbed to severe pressures has increased.
