Israeli and Palestinian news sources report that explosions were heard in the Zionist settlements around the Gaza Strip, apparently due to rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip.
Hebrew and Arabic news sources reported the sounding of alarm bells in the Zionist settlements around Gaza this Thursday evening.
Citing Zionist sources, Shahab news agency reported that alarm sirens were sounded in the towns of “Kisofim”, “Al-Ain al-Alat” and “Nirim”.
The Sputnik news agency, citing the Israeli radio and television, reported that missile attacks were launched from the Gaza Strip and that the Iron Dome system intercepted at least one missile.
News sources also reported hearing at least two explosions in these towns. However, Yediot Aharonot newspaper reported that at least one rocket was fired from the south of the Gaza Strip towards the settlements of “Eshkol”, but “apparently this rocket was intercepted”.
In this connection, the Zionist army announced on the 15th of August last month that the Palestinian resistance has fired 160 rockets and missiles at the Zionist settlements in a few days.
These attacks have taken place while the Palestinian resistance fighters, in the last few months, have carried out many martyrdom operations against the military and Zionist settlers and killed a number of them.
