Palestinian Authorities: The situation of Zionist prisoners is on the verge of explosion.
A spokesman for the Organization of Prisoners of War and Freedoms and the head of the Center for the Study of Palestinian Prisoners stressed that the situation inside the Zionist prisons is very tense and is on the verge of exploding.
Hassan Abdul Rabeh, a spokesman for the Palestine Liberation Organization, criticized the poor condition of Israeli prisons, saying that the situation in those prisons was deplorable.
“If the Zionist authorities do not stop their repressive actions against the Palestinian prisoners, the situation inside the Zionist prisons will be very tense and on the verge of explosion and tension,” Sava news agency quoted Abdul Rabeh as saying.
He stressed that the prisoners continue to close different parts of the prison and not to leave it and not to enter the prison grounds.
Criticizing the Zionist discriminatory actions against Palestinian prisoners, the Palestinian official said that these actions clearly show that the Zionists intend to thwart the actions of the Al-Assir movement and intimidate Palestinian prisoners.
In this regard, Riyad al-Ashqar, head of the Center for the Study of Palestinian Prisoners, said today that Palestinian prisoners in Zionist prisons have decided to close all sections of the prison in protest of the prison authorities’ aggression.
Al-Ashqar told Sputnik that the atmosphere in Zionist prisons is tense, in protest of the reduction in airtime. Zionist officials have also reduced the number of prisoners in the prison.
The Al-Assir movement also called on the entire Palestinian people to help them in their violent actions against the Zionists. Addressing the Palestinian people, the movement stressed that next Friday and Monday will be “days of anger inside and outside the prison.”
Al-Ashqar reported that the Zionist prison authorities have renounced all previous agreements and are imposing more punishments on the prisoners.
It is worth mentioning that the number of prisoners in Zionist prisons is about 4,650, of which 160 are children and 34 are women. 600 of these prisoners are sick and four of them have cancer.
