The Saudi’s act of obstructing Sana’a airport is shameful.
According to al-Masirah, Hossein Al-Azi, the deputy foreign minister of the National Salvation Government of Yemen, announced that civilian airports should be working both in peace and war.
Referring to the continuation of the Saudi coalition’s obstruction of regular flights and the normal operation of Sana’a airport, Al-Azi considered this action a source of shame for the international community.
The Deputy Foreign Minister of the Government of National Salvation of Yemen added: The continued embargo on Sana’a airport by the aggressor coalition in the phase of de-escalation is completely contradictory to peace and makes the talk of peace useless.
Abdul Wahab al-Dara, Minister of Transportation of the National Salvation Government of Yemen, also said in a conversation with Al-Masira: The United Nations has not adhered to the agreement to provide essential equipment to Hodeida port after the bombing of this port by the aggressor coalition.
Al-Dara added: The continuation of the actions of the inspection group in Djibouti is not justified, because this action will delay the arrival of ships in Hodeida port and increase costs.
He continued: “Whenever we reached a conclusion about the expansion of incoming and outgoing flights of Sana’a airport, the other side obstructed in doing so.”
The Minister of Transportation of the Government of National Salvation of Yemen announced: There are many difficulties in booking tickets for incoming and outgoing flights at Sana’a airport because the number of flights has not increased.
The other news is that Abdul Wahab Al-Dara, the Minister of Transportation of the National Salvation Government of Yemen, submitted the protest letter of the Yemen National Salvation Government regarding the signing of the memorandum of understanding on providing maritime security between the United Nations and the government-affiliated to the Saudi coalition to the regional director of the United Nations Development Program.
