The Yemen Ministry of Human Rights has released a report on the killing of 43,582 Yemeni citizens by the Saudi coalition, announcing the start of attacks and aggression against the country.
“Thousands of military strikes have killed 43,582 civilians, including 7,999 children and 5,184 women,” the Yemeni Ministry of Human Rights said in a statement.
The Yemeni Ministry of Human Rights added that the poverty rate in the country has reached more than 85 percent and the unemployment rate has reached more than 65 percent: 16 million and 200 thousand people lack food security.
According to the report, the war against Yemen has deprived more than 1.2 million employees of their monthly salaries. The Saudi coalition has also violated the rights of 8,100 prisoners through mental and physical torture.
The report also noted that the Saudi coalition used cluster, incendiary, chemical, and toxic bombs to invade Yemen and massacred thousands of Yemenis in 11 provinces with 3,179 bombs.
The report added: “The Saudi coalition has also destroyed 417 archeological and historical monuments, 366 recreation and tourism centers, and 1,348 mosques, and deprived the Yemenis of performing Hajj rituals.”
The Yemeni Ministry of Human Rights noted in its report that the aggressors also found 132 sports centers, 4,370 roads, and bridges, 767 gas and gas stations, 14 ports, 9 airports, four-passenger planes, 349 factories, five-grain silos, 2,200. It has destroyed 72 facilities and communication networks, 523 health centers, 92 ambulances, 3,784 educational centers, thus depriving 4,435,409 students of their education.
The Arab League, led by Saudi Arabia, launched a large-scale offensive against Yemen, the poorest Arab country, on April 26, 1994, with the help of the United States, under the pretext of returning ousted fugitive President Abd al-Mansour Hadi to power.
