The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman stressed that the West was too involved in conspiracies against Russia, explaining the current crises, including the energy crisis, and that it was time for them to admit it.
“Perhaps our Western counterparts will finally be able to admit openly and without our allusions that they are too engrossed in sedition,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova was quoted as saying on Sunday.
He stressed that the various analytical bodies set up in NATO and the European Union to deal with Russia should now “think about the cause of the crisis”.
Zakharova added: “After that, they will see what has happened there over the past decade, the most famous of which is the invention of mythical threats by Russia and the lack of understanding of the dangers they face in all areas of life.” The same is true of international terrorism, immigration policy, reckless interference in domestic affairs and the energy sector.
The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman also said that all this is based on a stupid political sedition that is not based on scientific analysis. Conspiracies have always been in international affairs, but they must be based on an understanding of the situation.
Gas prices in Europe hit a record high of more than $ 1,900 per 1,000 cubic meters on Wednesday, but fell to $ 1,450 per 1,000 cubic meters by the end of the day. The cuts continued the next day to $ 1,000 per 1,000 cubic meters.
Alexei Miller, Gazprom’s chairman, has previously said that delays in injecting gas into Europe’s underground storage facilities and rising demand for gas have led to unprecedented prices that may exceed their value in the near future.
