The resignation of more than 100 leaders of the Al-Nahda Islamic Movement.
Al-Mayadin reported that 103 leaders of the Al-Nahda Islamic Movement had resigned. Muhammad bin Salem, Samir Dillo and Abdul Latif al-Makki are among those who have resigned.
“The wrong political choices made by the leadership of the Al-Nahda movement have led to the resignation of a number of the movement’s leaders,” they said in a statement they are committed to defending democracy.
Abdul Latif al-Makki stated in this regard: In the last few months, we have no choice but to resign. Samir Dilo also said: “The Al-Nahda movement has become isolated and more members of this movement will resign.” There is a possibility of establishing a new political system in the future.
