Islamic Jihad: The killing of Sabra and Shatila is proof of the bloodthirstiness of the Zionist regime.
On the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the Zionist regime’s crime in the “Sabra and Shatila” camps in Lebanon, the Islamic Jihad movement emphasized that this crime is proof of the bloodthirstiness of the Zionists.
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement issued a statement this Saturday evening on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the Zionist regime’s crime in the “Sabra and Shatila” camps in Lebanon and emphasized that the fight against this regime continues.
Sabra and Shatila were two camps out of a total of 12 camps for Palestinian refugees in southern Lebanon. From September 16th to 18th, 1982 (25th to 27th September 1982), the Zionist regime launched a massacre in these camps, the number of victims of which was announced to be more than two thousand people. Some sources even estimated the number of victims between three and five thousand people.
Islamic Jihad wrote on its Telegram channel, “We emphasize in the name of the Palestinian nation that they will continue on the path of liberating the land of Palestine and returning the refugees.” Because the Palestinian people will not forget and will not forgive the crime of killing and violating the Palestinian people in Sabra and Shatila.
It is stated in this statement that the scenes of the killing of women, men and children will not be erased from the memories and the destruction of the Zionist regime and the revenge of the Israeli killers will be the price of this crime.
While condemning the international silence and the complicity of other countries with the Zionist regime in the past years, Islamic Jihad emphasized that the killing of Sabra and Shatila will remain a testimony to the bloodthirstiness of this usurping regime and the meanness of its dependent mercenaries. We emphasize that their pursuit by our nation continued and their crimes will not be forgotten with the passage of time.
The crime of Sabra and Shatila, which has been going on for 40 years, was carried out by the Zionist military under the command of Ariel Sharon, the then Minister of War of the Zionist regime, and the Lebanese Falange forces, and most of the dead were women, children and the elderly.
The Zionist regime, along with Bashir Jumail, the leader of the Lebanese “Al-Kataib” party, committed this crime. In fact, the Zionist military and security officials and the leaders of al-Kataib were coordinated to carry out this massacre.
Jameel was a strategic ally of the Zionist regime, who was elected as the President of Lebanon, but it didn’t take long before he was killed along with a number of people around him. The Zionists were also waiting for an excuse to destroy the rest of the Palestinian prisoners and announced that they would take a severe revenge for killing Jamil and created the tragedy of Sabra and Shatila.
