The Palestinian “Shahab” news agency reported on Sunday evening, citing Hebrew sources, that Netanyahu’s internal security minister, “Itmar Ben Gower,” has set conditions for his resignation from the cabinet.
According to this report, before resigning from the cabinet, he asked the prime minister of this regime to agree to his alleged conditions, including the intensification of military operations against jihadist groups in the West Bank and reforms in the controversial judicial reform plan.
The Zionist Kan network added that, in the continuation of his conditions, Ben Guer asked Benjamin Netanyahu, in addition to keeping the position of advisor in security cases, the cabinet should apply more strict measures against Palestinian prisoners.
On the other hand, the Zionist channel “13” revealed that according to a new poll, 56% of the occupying settlers demanded the removal of Itmar Ben Guer from the cabinet.
In a related news from occupied Palestine, it is reported that the members of the “Otsama Yehudit” party, led by Ben Guer, did not participate in the weekly cabinet meeting.
