The exchange of Yemeni prisoners has been started.
According to Russia Today, a Yemeni official affiliated with the Saudi-backed government in Yemen announced that the prisoner exchange operation with Ansarullah will begin on Thursday for three days.
Majid Fazael, the spokesperson of the negotiating team of the Saudi-backed government in Yemen, said: “All necessary arrangements for the execution of the prisoner exchange operation have been completed.”
He added: The process of exchanging prisoners will start on April 13, 2023, and it will be through Red Cross flights, which will be between Aden and Sana’a and Sana’a and Aden on the first day. The second day will be between Sana’a and Riyadh and Abha in the south of Arabia and Mokha in the west of Yemen, and on the third day it will be between Marib and Sana’a.
Fadael emphasized: Another exchange operation will be done after the current process so that all captives, abductees and detainees will be released.
