The exaggeration of the French foreign minister in Riyadh: Iran is responsible for the insecurity in the region and the impasse in the JCPOA.
The French Foreign Minister, who is in Saudi Arabia, in an interview with Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper, identified Iran as responsible for the stalemate in the JCPOA.
French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna, who arrived in Saudi Arabia for the first time last night, in an interview with Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper, claimed that Iran is the cause of insecurity in the region and responsible for the stalemate in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
Colonna, who met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman today, claimed in this interview: “The region is witnessing chronic and increasing instability, and strengthening France’s relations with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates can be a way to counter this situation. ».
He added: “The Middle East region is facing crises and Iran has intensified the tension in the region with its destabilizing activities, including its nuclear, missile and drone programs.”
While supporting the disturbances in Iran, the French Foreign Minister claimed that the negotiations on the revival of the nuclear agreement with Iran have reached a deadlock and the full responsibility for this situation lies with Iran, which lost the opportunity to accept the text proposed by the European Union, which was “the best possible proposal”. .
Catherine Colonna once again raised the issue of sending drones from Iran to Russia and said: “With the cooperation of our partners, we have focused on the process of transferring drones from Iran to Ukraine, which is against Security Council Resolution 2231.”
In a public flattery, the French foreign minister described Saudi Arabia and the UAE as the poles of stability in the region and said that Paris seeks to develop relations with Riyadh in all areas and fully supports the country’s 2030 vision.
