A convoy carrying 27 trucks carrying US military equipment and logistics entered Syria today through an illegal crossing on the border with Iraqi Kurdistan.
The U.S. military sent a convoy of logistical supplies and equipment to Syria through the illegal Al-Waleed crossing on Sunday and sent it to its military base in al-Hasakah province.
According to the Syrian state news agency (SANA), a convoy consisting of 27 vehicles, including container and refrigerated trucks and several tankers belonging to the US military, entered Syria today through the illegal Al-Waleed crossing on the border with Iraqi Kurdistan.
According to local sources, several vehicles belonging to the so-called Syrian Democratic Forces group also accompanied the convoy until it reached the illegal US base in al-Hasakah province.
The US military on Saturday stole a convoy of Syrian oil tankers from the eastern part of the country through Iraq through the Al-Waleed crossing.
Syria, meanwhile, considers the presence of the American occupiers on its territory illegal and has repeatedly stated that it will end it. Residents of the US-occupied territories have also repeatedly protested.
The United States has set up bases in several parts of Syria’s Al-Jazeera region, particularly in the country’s oil and gas fields, with the aim of stealing and smuggling natural resources.
Washington, backed by Kurdish militias known as the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), smuggles resources from the fields to bases in neighboring countries on a monthly basis.
