The bill against Iran’s military drones is approved by the US Congressional Committee.
The US House Foreign Affairs Committee approved a cross-party bill to “stop Iranian drones.” To become law, the bill must be put to a vote in the House of Representatives and the Senate.
According to Fars News Agency’s International Group, the US House Foreign Affairs Committee approved an extra-party bill against the military drones of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to the Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper, according to the bill, any supply, sale or transfer of military drones (from Iran to Iran) will be banned and will result in punitive measures.
This anti-Iranian bill on the way to becoming a law must also be voted in the House of Representatives and the US Senate.
Gregory Mix, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, called the bill “Iran’s deadly drones” a “threat to US security and regional peace” and has so far carried out attacks against US troops, merchant ships and Washington’s regional partners.
The senior Democrat lawmaker added that the bill sends a strong message to the international community that the United States will not tolerate support for Iran’s drone program.
It was December 4 this year when a group of members of both the Republican and Democratic parties in the US House of Representatives introduced the bill in Congress.
Iran’s drone capability has been a concern for US officials in recent months. “Kenneth Frank McKenzie,” the head of the terrorist organization of the US Central Command, known as “Centcom”, had warned in May of this year that the activity of Iranian drones had caused the United States to lose its air superiority.
