The Biden administration was forced to reveal the number of its troops in Ukraine.
According to Reuters, the US Congress requires the country’s authorities to disclose the number of its soldiers in the war between Ukraine and Russia.
The US House of Representatives passed a resolution according to which military authorities and the government of this country are required to disclose information on the number of American soldiers in Ukraine.
Previously, US Congressman Matt Gatz presented this resolution to the House of Representatives, according to which the Pentagon is obliged to disclose information about the number of US troops in Ukraine.
Also, the approval of this resolution in the US House of Representatives will force US President Joe Biden to submit copies of all documents detailing military aid programs to Ukraine to the House of Representatives. According to this resolution, American Defense Minister Lloyd Austin is required to disclose information about the number of American troops, including the country’s special forces, that have been sent to Ukraine without the approval of Congress.
With the approval of this resolution, Biden and Austin must send the requested documents to the House of Representatives within 14 days.
According to the statement, an alleged leak of Pentagon and US intelligence documents to social media showed that at least 14 US special forces are currently in Ukraine.
