According to Russia Today, a meeting held last Wednesday in the presence of members of the Arab media against the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime in Lebanon stressed the need to adopt a comprehensive media strategy to combat this phenomenon.
The Bahraini Foreign Ministry called the members of the Arab media present at the meeting hostile elements and supporters of terrorism, and said that the purpose of the meeting was to promote insulting allegations against Bahrain.
The Bahraini Foreign Ministry said it had strongly protested to the Lebanese government in this regard, saying that hosting such a meeting was not acceptable at all and was a clear violation of the principles of respect for the sovereignty of countries and non-interference in their internal affairs.
The Bahraini Foreign Ministry also sent a note of protest to the Arab League Secretariat, saying it condemned what it called Lebanon’s unfriendly act.
