While warning Kosovo, he said: We ask Kosovo and its western supporters to stop provocative behavior and respect the rights of Serbs.
On Sunday night, some news sources claimed that the danger of an air attack was sounded on the border between Serbia and Kosovo. At the same time, some other sources report the dispatch of Kosovo special forces to the Serbian part of this republic.
These news sources announced that Kosovo has declared war on a Serb-backed group in northern Kosovo. It is said that the members of this group are apparently supported by the President of Serbia.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Sunday that Serbia has never been in a more complicated and difficult situation than today in relation to Kosovo. Serbia considers Kosovo, which broke away from Yugoslavia after the Balkan crisis, as one of its autonomous provinces, but Kosovo considers itself an independent republic.
The recent tensions began after Kosovo authorities ordered owners of vehicles with Serbian license plates to change them to temporary license plates upon entering Kosovo. Following this issue, hundreds of Serbs started demonstrations and blocked traffic at the border crossings.
