Tel Aviv’s new request from Riyadh; Permission to fly directly to Saudi Arabia.
The Minister of Regional Cooperation of the Zionist regime announced that he has sent an official request to Saudi Arabia to agree to a direct flight from Tel Aviv to the country’s airports.
Issawi Farij, Minister of Regional Cooperation of the Zionist regime, announced that he has sent an official request to the Saudi authorities to allow a direct flight from Tel Aviv to Saudi Arabia.
According to the report of the “Russia Day” news site and citing Hebrew-language news sources, the Minister of Regional Cooperation of the Zionist regime has admitted that “I have discussed this issue with Saudi Arabia and I hope this day will come soon”.
This official request was sent by the Zionist regime to the Saudi authorities, while Saudi Arabia has previously welcomed pilgrims living in the occupied territories. But these passengers had to enter Saudi Arabia through third countries.
“The cost of this traffic (travel through third countries) may reach 11,500 dollars for a one-week trip, while pilgrims from Arab countries pay about half of this amount,” Farij admits.
This is despite the fact that Saudi Arabia, after the process of normalizing Arab relations with the Zionist regime [by the UAE and Bahrain in 2020], allowed Israeli planes to pass through the country’s airspace. This has led to an increase in air travel of Zionist businessmen with private planes to Riyadh and Jeddah.
