In recent days, Israeli officials have expressed concern about the warming of relations between Tehran and Abu Dhabi, describing it as unacceptable.
According to Fars News Agency’s International Group, the Zionist regime’s media reported that the rapprochement between Iran and the UAE has caused concern to the Zionist regime.
According to the Middle East, Israeli officials believe that the UAE’s warm relations with Iran are unacceptable, while the UAE National Security Adviser traveled to Iran on Monday and signed a significant security cooperation agreement with Tehran.
Tehran – Abu Dhabi axis
The Zionist regime, which signed a normalization agreement with the United Arab Emirates in September 2020 under the presidency of former US President Donald Trump, has expressed concern over the warming of relations between the Persian Gulf Arab country and Iran, and expressed it to Israel. Described as unacceptable.
“The simultaneous proximity of the UAE to Iran and Israel is unacceptable,” a senior Israeli security official told the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper on Tuesday.
The remarks follow a visit to Tehran on Monday by UAE National Security Adviser Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan. In Tehran, the Emirati official met with Ali Shamkhani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, and Seyed Ebrahim Ra’isi, President of Iran.
According to the agreement reached between Tehran and Abu Dhabi, the goods will be transported from the United Arab Emirates to Turkey via Iran and from there to Europe. It is estimated that this new route will reduce freight traffic to Europe by a week. It takes at least 20 days to transport the goods from the current route through the Suez Canal.
“While thousands of Israelis travel to the UAE and are welcomed there with open arms, the presence of Iranians there can be dangerous,” said a Zionist official. “Israel will keep its eyes on the new axis between Abu Dhabi and Tehran.”
Yedioth Ahronoth wrote that Tahnoon had traveled to the occupied territories several times before and met with Yossi Cohen, the former head of the Mossad’s spy agency.
The Zionist newspaper wrote that despite the UAE’s proximity to Tehran, warm relations between the UAE and Israel still prevail.
