Taliban: Recognizing Israel is not part of our plan.
The spokesman of the political office of the Taliban in Qatar said: The Taliban has no plan to recognize the illegitimate Zionist regime.
Mohammad Naeem, the spokesman of the Taliban’s political office in Qatar, said: “The recognition of Israel is out of the question.”
Naeem wrote in a tweet: “Islamic Emirate’s position regarding Jerusalem is firm and clear. Bait al-Maqdis is the first Qibla of Muslims and the common and sacred value of all the Islamic Ummah, what Israel is doing in Palestine is a great and obvious injustice.
This Taliban official added: “The issue of recognizing Israel and relations with this country is not an issue, and the policy of the Islamic Emirate has been in the light of Islamic Sharia and the national interests of Afghanistan.”
Mohammad Naeem gave these explanations to the people who did not deny the possibility of communication with the Zionist regime as announced by the Taliban spokesman in a conversation with Al Jazeera.
The Taliban has repeatedly declared that the Zionist regime is illegitimate and that this group recognizes the right of the Palestinian people.
Inamullah Samangani, Deputy Spokesperson of the Taliban, said about the position of this group regarding the Taliban: Muslims should not forget the issue of Palestine and Al-Qusi Mosque, the first Muslim Qibla.
He also asked the compromising governments not to enter into a shameful deal about Palestine.
On the other hand, “Zabihullah Mujahid”, the spokesman of the Taliban, also said about the Palestinian issue: Israel is an illegitimate Zionist regime and we will never recognize it.
He clarified: Israel is a tumor in the body of the Islamic Ummah, Quds is a common issue among Muslims and all Muslims should unite around it.
The deputy of the Ministry of Information and Culture of the Taliban government also criticized the decision of the United States to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and said: This was an act against the entire Islamic nation and a step full of prejudice and far from reason.
