Taliban extract 200 tons of oil daily.
The spokesperson of the Taliban announced that an average of 200 tons of oil is extracted from one of the oil wells in this country.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid presented a report on oil production in Afghanistan.
He wrote on his Twitter page: 200 tons of pure oil are extracted from Qashgari mine daily, which earns 31 thousand dollars.
Recently, the Ministry of Finance of the interim government of the Taliban has announced that the oil extraction contract for Qashqara has been awarded to a Chinese company.
According to this ministry, based on this contract, the Chinese company Oxus will extract Ghoshqara oil in cooperation with the state oil and gas company of Afghanistan.
The ministry added that 20 percent of this contract belongs to the Afghanistan Oil and Gas Company and the rest will be given to the Chinese company.
According to this report, the Taliban’s finance minister has ordered the signing of this contract.
Previously, Mullah Barader, the Taliban’s first deputy prime minister, at the head of a high-level delegation, had inaugurated Qashqara oil during a trip to Sarpul Chaha province.
Delavar, Minister of Mines and Petrochemicals of the Taliban Cabinet, said at the opening ceremony of the Qashgari mine that the income from this oil well will be spent on the reconstruction of Afghanistan and a large part of it will be allocated to Sarpul province.
Sarpol and Faryab provinces have three oil wells named Qashgari, Bazar Qami and Zamardsai, and according to official statistics, the amount of fixed reserves in this area is estimated at 87 million barrels.
