Taliban complain about ignoring the actions of this group in Afghanistan.
The foreign minister of the Taliban has said in the meeting with the European Union representative that the world ignores the positive actions of the Afghan government.
Amir Khan Motaghi, the foreign minister of the interim Taliban government, met and talked with Thomas Nicholson, the EU’s special representative in Afghanistan, today (Tuesday, October 12).
Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, announced today in a tweet about the meeting of Thomas Nicholson, the special representative of the European Union, with Amir Khan Motaghi.
Balkhi said that the representative of the European Union condemned the targeting of schools and called it an attack on all Afghan people.
According to the spokesman of the Taliban’s foreign ministry, the representative of the European Union has emphasized that the West has come to the conclusion that humanitarian aid to Afghanistan is not the only solution to Afghanistan’s problems and that construction work must be done in this country.
Amir Khan Motaghi also said in this meeting that the interim government of the Taliban has made many achievements in the past year that the world ignores.
Motaghi added that ISIS has been defeated in Afghanistan and no group has the ability to disrupt security in this country.
This is despite the fact that an explosion took place in the west of Kabul on Friday of this week, which led to the martyrdom of a number of students, and so far no one has taken responsibility for this incident.
