The military will use the same right to retaliate against Chinese drones that did not heed warnings to leave Taiwanese territory after the threat, Lin Wenghang added.
Meanwhile, “Zhao Lijian”, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, repeated Beijing’s position on Taiwan in a press conference on Wednesday. In this press conference, he called Taiwan one of the “provinces of China” and said that there is no such thing as Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense.

Defense units of Taiwan’s army stationed on Kinmen Island shot at the Chinese drone three times in different places on Wednesday evening local time.
These civilian drones flew near Liyu, Dadan and Kaoyu islands around 6:00 pm local time. Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense announced that the forces stationed on the islands fired at these drones to warn, and following this incident, the Chinese drones quickly left the area and flew to “Xiamen” in China.
