He emphasized the importance of following the consequences of terrorism on human rights by this council.
He pointed out that the earthquake disaster has deepened the difficult situation we have been dealing with for 12 years and doubled the suffering of the Syrian people.
Al-Maqdad said that the devastation caused by the earthquake has not shaken the conscience of some countries that have always claimed humanity, and they have not even hesitated to politicize this natural disaster.
He added: Immoral, inhumane, and illegal sanctions have caused great human pain and suffering, and coercive measures have prevented humanitarian and emergency operations from being met.
The Syrian Foreign Minister said that the government has launched an emergency action plan at the national level to deal with the consequences of the disaster and called on countries and international organizations to support the affected areas.
