In a meeting with a delegation from the People’s Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister stressed the support of the Damascus government for the Palestinian people and the Palestinian cause.
According to the Syrian daily Al-Watan, Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Bashar al-Jaafari met with a delegation from the People’s Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command led by its Secretary General Talal Naji and stressed that Syria would continue its firm position Support the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people until the full return of their rights from the usurping Zionist regime.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed recent developments in Palestine, including the continuation of the Zionist regime’s aggression against the Palestinians, in particular the displacement of the people of occupied Jerusalem from their homes.
Bashar al-Jaafari also congratulated Talal Naji on his appointment as Secretary General of the People’s Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command and stressed the Syrian government’s support for the Palestinian people and cause.
The delegation of the People’s Front for the Liberation of Palestine also stressed the depth of the fraternal relations between Syria and Palestine, which have historical and political roots, and thanked the Syrian government for its support of the Palestinian people and its just cause.
