Sweden provides a special aid package to Ukraine.
Following the military aid of European countries to Ukraine, the Minister of Defense of Sweden announced new military aid to Kiev.
According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Reuters, Sweden’s Defense Minister Paul Johnson, in a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart in Odessa city, while announcing that the country will provide a new aid package to Kiev, said that Ukraine is one of Sweden’s important priorities.
In this regard, he said: The new military package includes anti-missile systems, winter ammunition and a special aid package for Ukraine to get through the winter season.
Sweden, along with the United States and other European countries, has so far provided eight military aid packages to the Ukrainian government and army.
On February 24 (5th of Isfand 1400), the President of Russia announced in a televised speech that in response to the request of the Donbass (Donetsk and Luhansk) republics in eastern Ukraine, as well as in order to “de-Nazify and demilitarize Ukraine”, the order to start “special military operations” in Ukraine to protect the people who have been abused and massacred by the Kiev regime for eight years, and to cleanse Ukraine of “neo-Nazis”.
The United States and European countries have imposed extensive sanctions against Moscow in order to stop the advance of the Russian army, in addition to the large-scale shipment of weapons to the Ukrainian army.
