Sweden Gives Green Signal to The Desecration Of Quran Once Again.
According to AFP, the Swedish police again gave permission to Selvan Momika, an Iraqi immigrant living in Sweden, to burn the Koran and the Iraqi flag in front of the Iraqi embassy in Stockholm.
According to the request submitted to the Swedish police, this rally will be held in front of the Iraqi embassy today, Thursday between 13:00 and 15:00 local time.
Momika said he plans to burn the Koran in front of the same mosque in Stockholm that he set fire to last month.
The Swedish police claimed: This permit was not issued based on an official request to burn religious books, but based on the establishment of a public gathering to express an opinion based on the legal right to freedom of assembly.
The police spokesperson claimed that this does not mean agreeing with what is happening in the rally.
At the end of June, this 37-year-old Iraqi immigrant set fire to a copy of the Holy Quran and tore its pages.
