Suspicious US military movements in eastern Syria.
Some local sources in Syria’s Deir Ez-Zor province reported that the US and Kurdish militias affiliated with this country are rapidly transferring military equipment and have been stationed in opposite areas of the Syrian army.
At the crossing points between the areas under the control of the Syrian army and the areas occupied by the United States and the Kurdish militias affiliated with this country in Deir Ezzor province, there have been suspicious movements that are more like military and security alerts.
Local sources present in Deir ez-Zor (eastern Syria) told Sputnik news agency: This alert and military tension is due to the heavy military equipment of the American army, which has been transferred to the areas around the Euphrates River. The areas where the Syrian army and its affiliated forces are present at the point of confrontation.
During the past few days, the American terrorists transferred a lot of military and logistical equipment to their illegal bases in the Deir Ezzor reef, the last of which was the military convoy that entered the Koniko area today.
These sources continued: Kurdish elements transferred more than 500 military vehicles, including American-made armored vehicles, from the city of Qamishli in Al-Hasakah province to the towns of Ekeidat, Al-Basira, Al-Shaheil, Al-Azb, and Meydan Nafti. In this square, the illegal American base is located in the east of Deir Ezzor.
According to these sources, American fighters, helicopters, and drones are flying heavily in this area. The forces of the so-called anti-ISIS international coalition are also patrolling the Koniko gas field. This square, which is located north of Deir Ezzor, houses another illegal US base.
The Americans, with the cooperation and coordination of Kurdish mercenaries, held military maneuvers in their bases in Deir Ezzor during the past few days. Some local sources say that Kurdish elements have prepared their forces to attack villages controlled by the Syrian army. These villages are: Hatlata, Al-Janeina, Marat, Mazloum, Al-Husseiniyyah, Al-Tabiyyah and Khasham.
The Syrian army and official sources have not reacted to this news. Damascus has repeatedly emphasized that the presence of American and Kurdish separatist mercenaries in the east and northeast of Syria is illegal and occupation and will end this presence.
