Statistics of 7 years of Saudi-Emirati coalition invasion of Yemen.
A spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces said on the eighth anniversary of the Saudi coalition’s aggression that there was no setback and that the Yemeni people would retain their gains.
The spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Yahya Sari, told a news conference on Monday that the Yemeni people are still standing after seven years of aggression by the Saudi-Emirati coalition, and that this is a historic achievement.
The Yemeni people will maintain their achievements and there will be no setbacks, Al-Masira news network reported, quoting Sari. The press conference was held to mark the eighth anniversary of the Saudi coalition’s invasion of Yemen.
He noted that thousands of bombs had been dropped on Yemeni villages and towns over the past seven years, and that tens of thousands of Yemenis had been killed and wounded.
Sari stated that to date, 274,243 attacks have been recorded by the Saudi coalition in Yemen, adding that the aggressor coalition has also used banned weapons over the past seven years.
“The enemy who claims peace and the preservation of Yemen has been seeking the disintegration and destruction of our country for more than seven years,” the Yemeni commander said, stressing that the killings of the aggressor coalition against the Yemeni people will not be forgotten.
Pointing out that the enemies of Yemen must stop interfering in the internal affairs of the country, he clarified that the Yemeni forces have carried out more than 13,000 military operations, including offensive, defensive operations and repelling enemy attacks.
“One of the most important operations we have carried out in the depths of the aggressor countries is the balance of deterrence, the Yemeni storm and the defeat of the siege,” Sari said, noting that Yemeni forces have carried out dozens of military operations against the aggressor coalition.
“More than 10,000 Saudi soldiers and more than 1,200 Emirati soldiers were killed during the Yemeni operation,” he said. “They were injured.”
A spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces said that more than 17,000 warships had destroyed military equipment, including personnel carriers and tanks, adding that Yemeni forces had looted hundreds of armored vehicles and heavy, semi-heavy and light weapons over the past seven years.
