Shahab Mohajer The Leader Of ISIS Khorasan’s Ambiguous Fate.
A publication close to the Pakistan Army announced that “Sanaullah Ghafari” alias “Shahab Mohajer”, the leader of the Khorasan branch of ISIS, was killed in the city of “Kunar”.
The report adds that Ghafari was involved in several attacks in Iran, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Pakistan and was active in Afghanistan. Since April 2020, he was supervising the operations of this terrorist group as the leader of the Khorasan branch of ISIS.
Zabihullah Mujahid, the Taliban spokesman, stated that he could not confirm Ghafari’s death, adding, however, that the local forces have been informed and are following this issue.
The reports of the death of the leader of the Khorasan branch of ISIS have been published while sources say that the Taliban received information a few days ago that the explosives of a suicide bomber who was guarding Ghaffari accidentally detonated, killing him and Ghaffari.
