New details of the meeting between Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and “Haniyeh” by a Hamas leader.
Referring to yesterday’s meeting between the head of the movement’s political bureau and the secretary-general of Hezbollah in Lebanon, a Hamas leader said that relations between the two movements had not been severed at any time, but had been developing.
Khalil al-Hayat, deputy head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), while talking about the meeting said the movement had good relations with Lebanon’s Hezbollah and had never been critical.
“We may have disagreed with Hezbollah on some issues in the past and present, but there is no tension between us and our brothers in Hezbollah and none of the groups of the Islamic Ummah,” al-Hayat told the Arab 21 news site. “Because we are looking for a natural relationship with everyone.”
Khalil al-Hayat said that Hamas’ quoting the meeting has said that the relations with Hezbollah have existed for a long time and that these relations are deep, stable, and firm, and I can say that these relations are developing.
Yesterday, Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Hamas political bureau, met with Lebanese Hezbollah Secretary General Seyed Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut and a number of Lebanese and Palestinian figures living in the country.
“Several issues related to the Palestinian issue were discussed during the meeting, including the outcome of the” Sword of Jerusalem “battle,” said the deputy head of Hamas’ political bureau in Gaza. This battle created a new reality in the face of the occupying enemy. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the results of the battle on the Arab and Islamic scene; “Because in the future, redrawing the Palestinian cause has created a new reality.”
He also said that the Hamas delegation had consulted with Hezbollah leaders on various issues related to the Palestinian people living in Lebanon and the possibility of Hezbollah helping them to achieve some social and human rights, and stressed that the Palestinian people had been guests in Lebanese camps. And they are waiting to return to Palestine and their home.
