Seyed Hassan Nasrallah: The United States is primarily responsible for what happened in Ukraine.
In a speech marking the 30th anniversary of the martyrdom of Abbas al-Musawi in Beirut, the secretary general of Hezbollah in Lebanon, in analyzing the current crisis in Russia and Ukraine, blamed the United States for the conflict and said that lessons should be learned from every moment of this global event.
Today (Tuesday, March 1), the Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the martyrdom of Seyyed Abbas Al-Musawi, inaugurated a conference entitled “Our Martyrs; Thought and Life “gave a speech in Beirut.
Sayyid Abbas al-Musawi is one of the founders of Hezbollah in Lebanon. He was born on the 4th of Aban, 1331 AH, in the village of Nabi Seth, located in Bekaa. The Apache helicopters of the Zionist regime were targeted and martyred. At the time of his martyrdom, he was the second secretary general of Hezbollah in Lebanon to take over after Sheikh Sobhi Tufaili. After his martyrdom, “Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah” took the helm of “Hezbollah in Lebanon” and remains in this position to this day.
Eid al-Fitr to the Muslims of the world
At the beginning of his speech, which was broadcast live on Al-Manar, the Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon congratulated the Muslims of the world on Eid al-Fitr and the Ascension of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
The need to document the sacrifices of resistance fighters
“The Lebanese and Palestinian resistance fighters are being portrayed in the world as thieves, murderers and drug dealers, and we do not know what image they will have in the next 50 years,” said Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, noting the need to document all the sacrifices of resistance fighters.
He added: “Therefore, it is our duty to document this original idea, the great sacrifices and the glorious truth of this blessed movement, and the speeches and discussions related to the activities of this conference should be turned into books and approved documents.”
Sayyid Abbas al-Musawi was concerned about Islam
Referring to the biography of the second secretary general of Hezbollah in Lebanon, the secretary general of Hezbollah said that the concern of Sayyid Abbas al-Musawi was Islam and he was a student of “Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr” school in the circle of Islam and followed Imam Khomeini’s school of thought after his martyrdom. Both schools were complementary and consistent with each other. Seyyed Abbas’s main concern and issue was Islam and the call to Islam with all available tools and facilities.
