Saudi intention of annexation of Yemeni provinces to the South of the Kingdom revealed.
A Yemeni news source reported that Saudi Arabia intends to annex several important Yemeni provinces to its territory with the aim of gaining access to southern Yemeni waters and granting the right to self-determination to the people of eastern Yemen.
According to media sources, Saudi officials recently held a meeting with a number of residents of Hadhramaut, Shabwa, Al-Mohra and Abin provinces.
At the meeting, the Saudi side met with members of a committee of people from the provinces and announced that Riyadh had decided to grant the people of Hadramaut, Shabwa, Abin and Al-Mehrah the right to self-determination to join Saudi Arabia.
“This decision has been made and is irreversible,” the Saudi side said at the meeting, citing the names of the provinces, according to Yemen’s Creer Sky news website. He also called these areas “Saudi Arabian South” and said that others, whether they like it or not [is what it is].
According to the report, Riyadh is looking for a beach in the Indian Ocean across the coastline from Sufism in the east to Shaqra in the west. In addition, Saudi Arabia is aware of the natural resources of these provinces and their compatibility in these provinces due to the social, cultural and religious proximity of the Saudis to the inhabitants of these provinces.
According to the report, while the citizens of these provinces are trying to free themselves from local domination, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is putting all its weight on these areas and tuning its instrument to provoke the emotions and love of the people of these provinces.
A few years ago, there were rumors that some of these Yemeni provinces would be annexed to Saudi Arabia. At the same time, a document signed by 95 heads of the Hadramaut tribes in eastern Yemen to annex Hadramaut province to Saudi Arabia sparked controversy.
To justify this action, the signatories of this document had claimed that the provinces of Hadramaut and Al-Mehrah and parts of Shabwa had historically returned to Saudi Arabia and did not belong to Yemen!
Saudi Arabia’s war against Yemen, which began seven years ago, began under the pretext of returning the government of Abd al-Mansour Hadi to power, but now there are reports of annexation of part of Yemen to Saudi territory. At the same time, parts of the south and islands of the southern waters of Yemen are also occupied by the UAE, which is Riyadh’s partner in this war.
