Saudi Foreign Ministry’s stance about the visit of the Yemeni Ansarullah delegation to Riyadh.
According to Al-Khalij Online, the Yemeni Ansarullah delegation left Sana’a last night with the Omani delegation for Riyadh to consult with the Saudi authorities about the end of the crisis in Yemen.
In this regard, the Saudi Foreign Ministry announced: Saudi Arabia has invited the delegation from Sanaa to visit Riyadh.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry’s statement did not mention the date of the meetings.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia stated: The Saudi March 2021 plan emphasizes the establishment of a permanent ceasefire under the supervision of the United Nations and the start of peace talks between Yemeni groups.
In the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, the purpose of this invitation is to complete the previous negotiations and the goal is to continue the efforts of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman to establish a ceasefire in Yemen and achieve a stable and acceptable solution for all Yemeni groups.
At the same time, the Yemeni media announced that the Yemeni Ansarullah delegation had left for Riyadh on an Omani plane yesterday, and a 10-member Ansarullah delegation along with a 5-member Omani delegation were present on this plane.
On the other hand, Muhammad Ali al-Houthi, one of the senior members of Yemen’s Ansarullah, while confirming the visit of the Ansarullah delegation to Saudi Arabia along with the Omani delegation, expressed hope that the challenges would be left behind.
Agence France-Presse, quoting knowledgeable sources, announced that the purpose of this trip is to reach the unresolved humanitarian and economic cases and discuss the salary of employees in the areas under the control of the National Salvation Government.
