Saudi fighter jets heavily bombed three Yemeni provinces.
According to Arab media reports, fighters of the Saudi aggression coalition have repeatedly targeted areas of the three Yemeni provinces of Sanaa, Saada and Imran.
“Saudi-American aggressor fighters attacked the capital Sanaa,” Al-Masira reported in breaking news. “There were two attacks on the protected area in al-Thawra.”
“Saudi-American aggressors attacked al-Hifa area in al-Sabain area,” the report said.
Al-Mayadin also reported: “Saudi coalition fighters targeted the Jabal al-Nahdin area south of the Yemeni capital Sanaa. “The Saudi coalition attacked the protected areas three times.”
“Saudi-American enemies also attacked the town of Harf Sufyan in Imran province,” the website of the Yemeni Ansarullah Information Center wrote minutes later.
The base then reported that the Sahar area in Saada province was also targeted by heavy and brutal Saudi airstrikes.
The Saudi coalition claimed in a statement on Wednesday evening that it had intercepted three ballistic missiles fired from Yemeni territory.
However, Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sari said the Yemeni Missile Unit carried out a unique operation in Dhahran al-Janub in the Asir region (southern Saudi Arabia), Ma’rib (east of Sanaa) and west of Taiz (south of Sanaa). It has been reported that the missiles hit the targets precisely.
The Yemeni army has always insisted that attacks on Saudi military positions will continue as long as the Saudi coalition continues its aggression on Yemeni soil.
Saudi Arabia, at the head of a US-backed Arab coalition, has launched a military aggression against Yemen and imposed a land, air and sea blockade on April 26, 2015, claiming that it was trying to bring the resigned Yemeni president back to power.
The military aggression did not achieve any of the goals of the Saudi coalition and was only accompanied by the killing and wounding of tens of thousands of Yemenis, the displacement of millions, the destruction of the country’s infrastructure and the spread of famine and infectious diseases.
