At the request of the Israeli regime, Saudi Arabia has imposed restrictions on the collection of public aid to the Palestinian people.
The Al-Saud regime has deliberately imposed restrictions to prevent financial aid from reaching Palestine, especially the Gaza Strip, according to the international group Tasnim.
A source told the Saudi website Lex that a decision was made to limit the collection of donations outside Saudi Arabia through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid Center.
The center is a government arm that has a direct connection to the royal court.
The source revealed that the decision to limit financial aid to Palestine was taken at the behest of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in response to Israel’s repeated request that the unprecedented move in Saudi Arabia prevent any financial aid to the Palestinian people, especially It is in the Gaza Strip.
Recently, Saudi officials warned Saudi citizens and residents against donating benevolent work to unknown parties outside Saudi Arabia.
Activists unanimously declared the warning to prevent financial aid to Syria and Palestine.
A spokesman for Saudi Arabia’s security directorate threatened in a statement that they would face punishment if they responded to campaigns for aid to Palestine.
The statement stressed that the only institution authorized to provide financial assistance outside Saudi Arabia is King Salman’s Center for Relief and Humanitarian Affairs.
According to the statement, messages and contacts from unknown foreigners on social networks have increased, with these anonymous people setting up websites on the Internet and asking for financial assistance to help charities outside Saudi Arabia.
“Those who want to help inside Saudi Arabia should go to the authorized channels,” said a spokesman for the Saudi security department. “The only institution authorized to provide financial assistance outside of Saudi Arabia is the King Salman Humanitarian Aid Center.”
Campaigns in Saudi Arabia are active to support the Syrian and Palestinian peoples by raising funds, including through charities, which have been severely restricted by the authorities.
