Emirati Professor: May God help the land of the two holy shrines because it is ruled by a prince who cannot manage running a poultry farm.
Prominent Emirati doctor Dr. Youssef Khalifa Al-Youssef, a former professor of economics at the University of the UAE, launched a fierce attack on the Saudi Crown Prince, believing that Muhammad bin Salman was not even suitable for managing a poultry farm.
Al-Youssef tweeted about bin Salman’s efforts to reconcile with Turkey, citing Saudi participation in military training exercises in Greece.
“If Abu Manshar is honest in his rapprochement with Turkey, why is he taking part in the Greek maneuver?”
He continued and asked: Or is he stupid that he thinks this weakens Turkey’s behavior towards him?
This explicit statement criticizing the policy of Saudi Arabia and bin Salman, especially referring to the issue of Saudi Arabia’s rapprochement with Turkey, shows the UAE government’s dissatisfaction with Riyadh’s move, which allows these leaks by prominent Emirati figures.
