Saudi Arabia enjoys Security Council action against Ansarullah leaders.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry welcomed the inclusion of the three Ansarullah leaders by the SC in the sanctions list.
The ministry claimed in a statement that “new sanctions neutralize the threat to Ansarullah provide Ansarullah with missiles, drones, weapons and war budgets to attack Saudi civilians and economic facilities, and threaten international shipping,” the ministry said in a statement, quoting Russia Today. “And it stops neighboring countries.”
The Saudi Foreign Ministry reaffirmed its support for Yemen and what the government called “legitimate” international and security efforts to find a comprehensive political solution to the crisis.
The Security Council recently added three Yemeni Ansarullah leaders to its “blacklist” for allegedly playing a role in destabilizing the country. An order to seize international property and impose sanctions on the three has been issued by SC.
