Saudi Airlines Have Increased Their Capacity To Transport Pilgrims.
Balbaldi news website quoted Abdullah al-Shahrani, the official spokesperson of Saudi Arabian Airlines, as reporting that these airlines have prepared a targeted program to serve the pilgrims of the House of God during this year’s Hajj season.
According to this report, Saudi Arabian Airlines has allocated more than 1,200,000 seats to transport the pilgrims of Baitullah Al-Haram from all over the world to Mecca.
Al-Shahrani added that Saudi Airlines has 100 specified and scheduled destinations, and 14 more destinations are added during such ceremonies using 176 aircraft.
He emphasized that extensive coordination has been done with the relevant parties in Hajj affairs and the Ministry of Hajj of Saudi Arabia to inform the pilgrims of Baitullah Al-Haram when they arrive in this country.
Al-Shahrani added that this year, inside all planes, LCDs have been installed to show the things needed by pilgrims in 14 languages of the world for 45 minutes.
Earlier, “Faisal bin Salman Abdul Aziz”, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Committee of Madinah Al-Munawrah, emphasized the necessity of preparing all the departments related to this year’s Hajj rites, in order to hold this ceremony as grandly as possible.
During their meeting, the members of the aforementioned committee discussed the plan of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia for Medina and welcoming 1 million and 85 thousand pilgrims from abroad.
In this meeting, it was predicted that Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport will see a 136% increase in flights this year compared to last year’s Hajj season.
