Sanaa warns Riyadh and Abu Dhabi: Patience against Yemeni oil and gas theft is not long.
The adviser to the Yemeni Supreme Political Council said that Sanaa would not wait long for the theft of Yemeni oil and gas, adding that companies and ships involved in the matter would be targeted.
“It will not be long before Sanaa’s patience with the other side abuses the temporary ceasefire and the continued theft of Yemeni oil and gas by Saudi Arabia and the UAE,” Mohammed Tahir Anam, an adviser to the Yemeni Supreme Political Council, tweeted.
“The companies, ships and oil and gas sites are being targeted,” he said, adding that the robberies were carried out by ships off the coast of Shabwa and companies along the Hadramaut and Al-Jawf borders with Saudi Arabia.
The Prime Minister of Yemen’s National Salvation Government, Abdul Azir bin Habtour, also said yesterday (Saturday) that Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates intend to extend their presence in Yemen in order to plunder its resources and facilities.
He stressed that the UAE and Saudi Arabia are also abusing the Yemeni islands and coasts, using them for American, Zionist and British resources.
The Yemeni official noted that Yemen can expel the new occupiers and guarantee its security, sovereignty and territorial integrity with its record of struggle and history, which is based on resistance against the aggressors and occupiers.
