Sana’a: The Saudi coalition seeks to stay away from attacks in Yemen, not peace.
The Negotiating Board of the Government of National Salvation of Yemen emphasized that the aggressor countries do not want peace as much as they want to keep themselves away from the consequences of war and direct attacks.
The Negotiating Board of the Government of National Salvation of Yemen issued a statement this Saturday evening about the ceasefire in this country and emphasized that since the beginning of the ceasefire, Sana’a has not lost any opportunity that might lead to peace.
While quoting this statement, al-Masira news channel reported that Yemen exercised restraint during the ceasefire period, in the face of repeated violations, to give more opportunity to the efforts of the United Nations and other “brother” countries.
It is stated in this statement: We do not have any plans except for the interests and human and legal rights of the Yemeni people. Accordingly, we agreed to extend the ceasefire twice, hoping that the aggressor countries would show the least sense of responsibility or understanding.
The Yemeni delegation stated that after six months of this ceasefire, they have not observed any seriousness to solve humanitarian issues, and clarified: Unfortunately, it became clear that after the aggressor countries lost all their cards, there is no other way but to target them. They did not have the livelihood of the Yemeni nation and they saw it as the easiest tool to bring the nation to its knees.
This board further emphasized: The aggressor countries do not want peace as much as they want to keep themselves away from the consequences of war and direct attacks. We have not made any demands outside the framework of the rights of Yemeni citizens, including the observance of equality in the payment of salaries, which is made from sovereign revenues such as crude oil and gas.
In this statement, pointing out that the aggressor coalition has brought the war to the economic field, it was emphasized regarding the reopening of the roads in Taiz and Saiz provinces. The provinces opposed and then targeted this committee.
