Sanaa: Some Arab countries express sympathy with Ukrainians while bombing Yemen.
According to the Yemeni Deputy Foreign Minister, some Arab countries have forgotten Yemen for 7 years and now issue visas to Ukrainians.
An official of the Yemeni National Salvation Government today (Sunday) criticized on his Twitter page that some Arab countries have forgotten the eight-year war in Yemen and are now shedding crocodile tears for the displaced people of the Ukrainian war.
Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein al-Aziz wrote that history does not forget that some Arab countries have been bombing Yemen for eight years and at the same time issuing visas and shelter to Ukrainian refugees.
He added: “O my brother, O Arab, you are facing a strange and wonderful scene, so raise your voice and say: I believed in Yemen, the last fortress of Arabia, and I became an infidel to the false Arabia of Zion.”
The Yemeni war enters its eighth year in less than a month, a war that has left hundreds of thousands dead and millions displaced, destroying much of the country’s infrastructure. Meanwhile, just 11 days after the Ukraine war, the UAE has announced that Ukrainian refugees can enter the country and receive a visa upon arrival.
The dual approach to the eight-year war in Yemen and the 70-year occupation by the Zionist regime with the war in Ukraine has caused criticism in many circles. In this regard, “Richard Boyt Bart”, a member of the Irish Parliament, yesterday criticized the double standards of the West and the United States in dealing with Russia and the Zionist regime, and said that the Zionist officials should be brought to justice.
