Sanaa: Emirati ship was seized in defense of Yemeni sovereignty.
A spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces stressed that the seizure of the Emirati ship by these forces is in line with exercising Yemen’s full right to defend the security and sovereignty of the country.
The Yemeni Armed Forces reiterated that defending the country’s sovereignty and sovereignty is not negotiable.
According to Al-Masira, Mohammed Abdul Salam, spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, said Wednesday evening: “Just as every country is concerned about defending its territorial waters, Yemen is certainly committed to exercising its full right to defend its security and the security of its territorial waters.”
He added: “What happened recently in the waters of Hodeidah with the seizure of an Emirati military cargo ship will not be affected by media and political issues, because the battle is for dignity and sovereignty and cannot be negotiated, and our people will fight to the end.”
This week, Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Yahya Sari announced the seizure of an Emirati ship by the Yemeni navy carrying large quantities of weapons.
Sari stressed that the Yemeni navy had been monitoring the ship for several days and then managed to seize it. The ship was transported to Al-Hudaidah port.
