Russia: The illegal presence of America is the main cause of the crisis in Syria.
According to Syria’s Al-Akhbariya network, the Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations, at the Security Council meeting to review the political and humanitarian developments in Syria, emphasized that the main cause of the political and humanitarian crisis and tension in Syria is the illegal presence of foreign forces, especially the American forces, in this country.
Dimitri Polyansky further added: It is the Syrian people who must decide the fate of themselves and their country without any external pressure. Priority should be given to helping people in need in Syria instead of terrorists supported by Western countries.
He stated: Russia is concerned about the presence of terrorists in the south of Syria who use the cover created by America for themselves to create insecurity in Syria. The attempt of Western countries to destroy relations between countries is an inappropriate action.
In the end, this senior Russian diplomat emphasized: Sending humanitarian aid to Syria will continue with the coordination of the official government of this country.
