Russia: America is not neutral in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
The permanent representative of Russia in the United Nations, criticizing the dual policies of the United States regarding the Palestinian conflict and the Zionist regime, said that the United States no longer acts impartially in this issue.
“Vasily Nebenzia”, the permanent representative of Russia to the United Nations, this evening (Wednesday), criticized the dual policies of the United States towards the Palestinian conflict and the Zionist regime.
According to the report of “Sputnik” news agency, the representative of Russia in the United Nations said in one of the meetings of the Security Council: “The double standards of our American friends are clearly evident in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. “The United States continues its unilateral actions by replacing the real political world with the economic world to reverse the deterioration of the situation on the ground.”
Vassily Nebenzia added: “By obstructing the actions of the Middle East Group of Four (the United Nations, the United States, the European Union, and Russia), the United States stubbornly promotes the normalization of relations between the Arab countries and Israel and bypasses the just solution of the Palestinian problems.”
Nebenzia also pointed out: “The main paradox here is that Washington – the party that claims to be the only supporter of the dispute resolution process in the Middle East – has long lost complete neutrality and impartiality, which are two inseparable qualities of a just mediator.”
The permanent representative of Russia also emphasized that the decision of the previous American government to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the Zionist regime and Tel Aviv’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights is in conflict with the commitment of the United States to the main resolutions of the Security Council and the United Nations General Assembly.
