Riyadh’s relations with Tel Aviv; From hidden alliance to empathy.
The Zionist regime, which has never included the Saudis in its circle of enemies, is now witnessing the fruition of this ally, which was once secretive, and other relations between the two sides have reached a stage where Riyadh identifies with Tel Aviv and their strategic goals are exactly the same.
The attempt of the Saudi ambassador to Lebanon, Waleed Bukhari, to tarnish the image of Hezbollah and present it as a threat to the national security of the Arab countries, highlights the role of the Saudi regime in intersecting with the Zionist regime.
The Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar wrote in a note that it is not a coincidence or a transient thing that Walid Bukhari, the Saudi ambassador to Lebanon, called Hezbollah the most serious strategic threat to Israel’s ethnic security at this stage, acknowledged by the Zionist regime’s military and political institutions. Describes a threat to Arab national security.
“This description shows the development of the Saudi regime’s practical role through the intersection and integration of targets with the Israeli enemy,” the memo said. It seems that the Saudi regime has taken on the role of a lawyer in performing certain tasks due to the inherent inadequacy of the Zionist regime due to the changes in the balance of power that threaten its strategic depth.
According to the author, Riyadh has taken on such a role, relying on religious themes and enormous financial wealth that enabled it to pledge financial, political and security demands in order to curb them in the face of resistance in Lebanon and the region.
“Apart from the fact that the Saudi regime will soon and openly join the path of normalization with Israel, it is clear that regional developments call for the promotion of bilateral relations and the entry of this relationship from the secret stage to the public at all levels,” the memo said.
According to the report, among the factors leading to this stage is the exhaustion of many alternatives to the resistance forces and their crystallization as a regional force that threatens Israel’s ethnic security and US interests and influence in the region. In addition, the United States is seeking to reduce its burden on the region in order to focus on countering the Chinese threat. Therefore, it is natural for forces with common interests and destinies to work together to counter common threats to the level of strategic alliance, which may take longer to become public.
