Riyadh has turned away from American weapons.

The American media “Business Insider” announced in a report that Saudi Arabia’s desire to buy French fighters shows the country’s dissatisfaction with the weapons received from America.

The report said: After Saudi Arabia cut oil production last October, US lawmakers proposed a law that would stop arms sales to Saudi Arabia, which has affected relations between Riyadh and Washington.
Germany also announced last July that it would not allow the delivery of Eurofighter Typhoon fighters to Saudi Arabia.
According to this report, France’s Rafale fighter jets may be an attractive option for Riyadh in the shadow of the US and Germany’s refusal to sell weapons to Saudi Arabia, especially since the purchase of Russian or Chinese fighters will lead to US sanctions and Saudi Arabia’s switch to fighter jets.
