Revelation of intelligence-security treasure of the Palestinian resistance three years after Operation Hadd al-Saif.
On the third anniversary of Operation Enduring Freedom in Palestine, a Lebanese newspaper revealed the intelligence-security treasures of the resistance that followed the operation.
Three years ago, on November 11, 2016, a group of special forces of the Zionist regime from the “Sayrat Mutakal” unit infiltrated a civilian vehicle in a special purpose operation at a depth of three kilometers. The Zionist regime wanted to do this quietly, but the forces of “Al-Qassam”, the military branch of Hamas, found out about the matter and pursued them.
When the movement’s forces pursued the Zionist commandos, the Zionist regime’s air force bombed the area to save its troops. Several members of al-Qassam were martyred in the operation, but the Zionist regime’s operation failed, and several Zionist officials were fired following this intelligence failure.
Three years later, Hamas revealed that it had a treasure trove of information and security through which it had thwarted years of attempts to infiltrate the movement’s secret communications system, Al-Akhbar reported. .
The report added that the security treasure contained recorded information about the unit’s movements and activities in the Gaza Strip, through which the resistance was able to use a number of spy devices and military equipment as infrastructure for future special forces activities. The Zionists were inside Gaza, to seize and confiscate, and thus, it has become difficult for the Zionist forces to infiltrate the Gaza Strip again.
Al-Akhbar added that the security forces of the resistance were also able to obtain documents and information that revealed the secret mechanism of the enemy. The engineering unit of the Al-Qassam unit succeeded in hacking the spy devices of the Sayrat Mutakal unit and accessing the recorded sounds. This information included the unit’s training, as well as its route to Gaza and how it worked in Gaza from the first day until the operation.
According to the report, the more dangerous issue for the Zionist regime was that the al-Qassam Brigades were able to obtain the names and images of these special forces, and this led to the exclusion of some of them. The Israeli army also acknowledged the defeat and the killing of an Israeli officer and the wounding of another.
The Palestinian resistance called the operation carried out by the Zionist forces in Gaza “the edge of the sword”. Al-Akhbar further quoted informed sources as saying that Hadd al-Saif was the first practical test to upgrade the resistance missile system. The Resistance first tested a remote control system to fire a large number of missiles simultaneously at one area, and 45 missiles were fired at Asqalan. The resistance used that successful tactic in Operation Saif al-Quds last May, which was a major challenge for the Iron Dome, and the system was unable to withstand a wave of missiles.
