Reactions to the execution of two Bahraini youths in Saudi Arabia.
Ayatollah Isa Qasim, the Shiite leader of Bahrain, called the families of Jaafar Sultan and Sadiq Thamer and expressed his condolences to their families.
The family of these two young Shiites also announced in response to Sheikh Isa Qasim that “you are our father and we are impatiently waiting for your return to the country”.
Al-Wafaq National Islamic Community of Bahrain condemned the execution of two Bahraini youths named Jafar Sultan and Sadiq Thamer by Al Saud and emphasized that it is a mistake, a crime and a political execution that lacks the most basic legal and moral standards.
According to this statement, Bahrain was devastated by the news of the execution of two Bahraini youths by the Saudi authorities. It is not permissible to use the language of killing in dealing with political and legal issues, and the Bahraini regime is also responsible for collaborating with the Saudi authorities (in this execution).
Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society of Bahrain announced 2 days of public mourning for these two young men.
Sheikh “Ali Salman”, the Secretary General of Bahrain’s National Islamic Al-Wefaq Jamiat, who is in custody, expressed his condolences to the families of the 2 Bahraini youths who were executed by Al Saud.
While thanking Sheikh Salman for his condolences, the families of these two executed youths said: We are waiting for your release from prison and we will be happy when we hear your voice.
Baqir Darwish, head of the Bahrain Human Rights Association, also announced that Saudi Arabia executed two Bahraini youths on Monday, citing “confessions under torture”.
He further added that Sadiq Thamer and Jafar Sultan are 2 Bahraini Shia youths who were sentenced to death during a “very shameful trial” and their sentences were executed.
Bahrain’s February 14 Revolution Coalition reacted to the execution of two Bahraini youths in Saudi Arabia by issuing a statement.
The coalition issued a statement announcing that on Monday, May 29, 2023, 2 Bahraini youths were executed by Al Saud, and Al Saud proved once again that it cooperates with America’s evil projects in the region.
Bahrain February 14 Coalition called on the people to condemn the execution of Jafar Muhammad Ali and Sadiq Majid Abdul Rahim by gathering in the city of “Darkalib” and declaring their anger in all areas.
A group of Bahraini scholars expressed their deepest condolences and sympathies with the people of Bahrain, especially their respected families, saying that the two young men executed by Saudi Arabia, Sadiq Thamer and Jafar Sultan, were “martyrs of the nation”.
