Ramallah: Iranophobia is a false project to cover up Israel’s crimes.
The Palestinian Authority’s State Department stressed that the purpose of the Naqqab meeting, which claims to focus on Iran’s nuclear program, is a fake Israeli project to cover up crimes against the Palestinians.
The State Department Palestinian Authority condemned the statement issued at a meeting of US, Israeli, Moroccan, UAE and Bahraini ministers in the occupied territories.
According to Al-Mayadin, the State Department of the Palestinian Authority stressed that Israel is competing with the West Bank to complete the Judaization of Jerusalem, the annexation of the West Bank and its allocation as a strategic depth for settlement building.
The statement said: “Israel is building and dealing with a foreign enemy and using it as a scarecrow to cover up this crime (settlement) by exploiting the internal concerns and fears of the Arabs.”
The State Department of the Palestinian Authority stressed: “Israel is working with the full support of the United States to form a security coalition whose overall framework is military, to exploit it for its colonial ambitions.”
According to the statement, the Israeli move is aimed at covering up settlement activity and annexing it to the occupied territories and preventing the formation of a Palestinian state.
“We hope that all parties and brothers will pay attention to what Israel is doing in the Occupied Palestinian Territories,” he said.
The ministry added: “The occupiers claim that their foreign policy is focused on the Iranian nuclear issue, while its real focus is on the Palestinian issue.”
The foreign ministers of the four Arab states of Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Morocco are attending a meeting on Sunday in the presence of Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in the occupied Negev.
The Niqab summit is being held while the settlement of the Zionist regime in the occupied region continues. Last Tuesday, a tripartite meeting was held between Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett in the tourist area of Sharm el-Sheikh.
