Informed Syrian sources tell a “true story” about the missile attack on the Dimona nuclear facility in occupied Palestine on Thursday morning, stressing that Israeli pilots were terrified and waiting for further surprises.
Rai Al-Youm newspaper quoted informed Syrian sources saying, the missile that landed in occupied Palestine on Thursday morning was the second generation of Syria’s advanced Sam 5 missiles.
“The missile was aimed at an Israeli fighter jet that was preparing to attack Syrian targets from outside the borders and was flying over the occupied territories,” the sources said.
The sources noted: “The Israeli plane was able to maneuver and move away from the missile, which had traveled 250 kilometers, and so the missile hit near Dimona …, which means that missiles were fired across the occupied territories. “Syria is there.”
“Two days ago, a large number of Israeli fighter jets carried out offensive flights without launching an attack, and on the third day, there was a large-scale attack, and the Syrian defense systems were also intercepted with interceptor and offensive missiles,” the Syrian spokesman said. “They countered and intercepted many of the attacking missiles. However, others hit their targets, one of which was the launch pad of the Sam 5 missile.”
According to these sources, the missile that struck near Dimona was close to its target and the scene of the downing of the F-16 fighter, which crashed in 2016, was repeated, but the plane maneuvered in the last seconds and managed to shoot itself. The Syrian missile flew away and landed deep in the occupied territories without being detected by the Israeli “Iron Dome” system.
Syrian sources also stressed that the “Sam 5” missile terrified the Israeli pilots; Because despite the fact that these planes were flying at high altitudes and firing many offensive missiles, but this Syrian missile was about to hit them.
The sources added that due to fundamental changes in the rules of the conflict, this scene is likely to be repeated in the coming weeks or months, the most important signs of which are the attack of invading planes in the skies of occupied Palestine and before they approach Syrian airspace.
